But because they committed to providing quality education no matter what, each school fulfilled its promise by switching to distance learning. While every institution does well, only a few will make it to the top, and here are the best online colleges in the state of Washington for 2021.

University of Washington

The University of Washington hosts a considerable number of free MOCCs or Massive Open Online Courses. While these advanced courses aren’t meant for credits, they are available to anyone who wishes to gain additional skills and further knowledge on a subject. UW’s 16 online programs have a class structure that allows working students to dedicate one evening each week to classwork alone.

The cost per credit hour in UW is $802. It has an acceptance rate of 45% and a 21:1 student-faculty ratio. Besides having the option to take hybrid or fully online classes, distance learners can also access UW’s library services. Likewise, academic coaches are always available to help.

Washington State University

Washington State University delivers both graduate and undergraduate online degrees. Its global campus regularly receives recognition as one of the most innovative schools for online education. And the class structure is among the aspects that set WSU apart from other schools. WSU’s major-specific programs follow and concentrate on a seven-week format that allows distance learners to complete their course faster.

Online students in WSU have access to career counseling, disability resource center, webinars, and other digital resources. They also have a student government, permitted and guided by the faculty members. On average, students pay $500 per credit hour.
